Yoga Stools

These stools are each hand made from Tasmanian Blackwood (Acacia melanoxylon) and finished with oil or shellac.

They have narrow placed legs to support your weight on a gently sloped platform taking pressure off your knees while meditating.

As pretty as Blackwood is, it is not always nice to work with as the dust can irritate and the grain direction is everchanging, a wood carver's nemesis.

These stools can be fully recycled (open-loop) so if you find Yoga isn't your thing, simply place the stool in your fireplace with a little kindling to provide warmth for your cockles and ash for your garden :)

Blackwood burns very nicely.
